As a 12 1/2 year breast cancer survivor, I have been blessed with a supportive husband (Don),family and friends. Thank you GOD for loving me!!!
In the past year two of my sisters have gone through treatment for breast cancer. Both of them followed Dr.’s orders in treatment. However I think they will both tell you it was the power of prayer that made the biggest difference. God is a miracle working God!
cancer runs in my family and my grandmother was an early survior of this battle and I support all causes where stopping any form of cancer is the outcome
Hello, I THANK GOD DAILY TO BE SPARED OF THIS TRAGIC ILLNESS, I LOST MY MOTHER AT THE AGE OF 10, I REMEMBER HER FIGHTING THIS DAILY AND REMEMBER THE SUPPORT MY FATHER GAVE HER AND THE JOY SHE RECIEVED FROM HIS FAITH AND CARING FOR HER. SHE FOUGHT THE GOD FIGHT AND YEARS LATER I KNOW SEE THE LOVE THEY HAD FOR EACH OTHER AND THE LORD THAT BROUGHT THEM THRU SO MUCH PAIN AND HARDSHIPS DURING THAT TIME. I HAVE LOST MANY OTHER RELATIVES TO THIS DISEASE AND HAVE GROWN WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF EACH OF THERE FIGHTS, NOWING THAT GOD HAS BEEN BESIDE EACH OF THEM AND HELPED THEM DAILY AND MADE ME GROW IN HIS LOVE THRU EACH DAY OF MY LIFE.
As a 13-year breast cancer survivor, I can say that it has been quite a journey. Not that I want to re-live the events of the past 13 years, I simply can’t imagine my life without them. The good fight takes courage, strength in God — not yourself, support from family and friends, and the prayers of many who fight on your behalf when you don’t have the strength to do it yourself. It takes an army of warriors and the battle is never over. There’s always the lurking thought of recurrence, so every day is precious, each moment is sacred, and life is a gift to be shared. How did I know that my journaling to heal would someday become a book and that my tragedy would reveal my passion? I’m thankful to God for allowing me to live to see my two boys through safe passage into adulthood…I’m blessed! The fight goes on, but I’m stronger because of those who battled this disease with me. Blessings to all who are in this fight!
I emerged from my cancer experience stronger in mind, body, and spirit. Resilient is a magnificent word I like to think I am.
How did I get to this place? I surrendered it all to a higher power and then trusted that all would be well no matter what happened. I supported myself with complementary therapies and healed my body and mind from the inside out. I feel so blessed to now be in this beautiful place in my life where I live each day to the fullest. Love is indeed the greatest healer of all. My heart reminds me of just that each and every day!!!!!!
I am a 12 year survivor. I was lucky to have a supportive husband, family, and friends. My medical doctors and nurse practitioners were also wonderful. I am sure happy to be here today
My mother is a survivor. She is a tough cookie, who never complained and never wanted anyone to make a fuss about her and her battle. We were all there for her but she stated she knew it would all be o.k. and she just took it one day at a time.
My grandma was diagnosed earlier this year and is a survivor; she never had an ill word to say, was always thinking positively and just kept being her typical good-humored happy self. My family was there to help her through it but she came out needing minimal recovery time and therapy. She still worries us at times, but she’s such a great sport.
I am a going on five years for breast cancer February 10. It was a scarey journey and I always lived each moment with joy and happiness praying for God to fill me with the courage and strength to fight the battle and win the war. To date I’m the winner and sharing my thoughts with every one who will listen.

Three of the eight friends in my stamping group are breast cancer survivors! They are various ages and have very different stories. They have combined the use of medical technology and an holistic approach during their cancer treatments. One incorporated acupuncture, drank a special hot tea and massage
during her chemotherapy sessions. Faith was a big factors in all three friend’s diagnosis, treatment and remission. I would love to win this fabulous prize package and share the goodies with my three friends. Many thanks, Cindi

I’ve had breast cancer 3 times 1998, 2005 and 2006. I lost my sister to it at age 46 in 2002. I did everything you could from raw foods, every supplement known to man, lymphatic massage, reiki, visualization, juicing as well as the usual slash and burn methods and hormone therapy. I finally realized my life was in God’s hands and quit doing all the other stuff. I have 4 sons and 2 granddaughters and a husband. They are the only thing that keep me going and my faith. the rest doesn’t matter.

My best friend Lisa battled breast cancer a few years ago. She battled through losing her long hair, being sick, and having days where going to the bathroom took every ounce of energy that she had. She is a survivor and I am inspired by her.
